Carl Weed - Fellowship Class

Carl Weed - Fellowship Class welcomes all adult ages. Our class is one of two of the oldest classes in our church. These two classes were eventually consolidated keeping both names. The material we use is the Adult Bible Study curriculum which consists mostly of the popular stories in the Bible. We have four teachers facilitating our studies.

We consider our class a very friendly and happy family. We enjoy social time together going to restaurants and plan special events on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We “dine in” quarterly with members providing the meal and also celebrate birthdays monthly by providing a birthday cake!

Please come and join us each Sunday at 9:30!

Friendship Class

The Friendship Adult Sunday School Class prides itself in being a very friendly class. We use the Bible and the Adult Bible Study curriculum of the United Methodist Church for our lessons and are blessed with a number of teachers. We also support several missions. Our class meets once a month in the church fellowship hall for food, fun and fellowship. We welcome visitors, so come check us out!

Journey  Class

The Journey Class includes singles and married couples. Our class explores what it means to live an intentional spiritual life on a daily basis.  The class uses various books as a guide for study, reflection and class discussion.  We get together once a quarter for fellowship in a member’s home. In the last year, we have had two out of town weekend retreats for further study and fellowship.

Seekers Class

If you are looking for a Sunday School Class that makes you feel like you belong to a big, lovable family, then the Seekers Class is the place for you!  Our members include single males and females, and married couples, mostly in their 40's through 60's, but we welcome anyone of any age.  Although we are a very "eclectic" group, we enjoy each other's company,  share our woes and work together to help others.  We have several teachers who rotate teaching duties, using the Adult Bible Studies curriculum of the United Methodist Church.  Each teacher brings a distinct teaching style to the lessons, but class discussion is always part of the presentation.  The Seekers Class is a wonderful place to begin your Sunday morning worship experience, with lots of laughter, singing and plenty of Christian love.

The Bill Child's Class

The Bill Childs’ Sunday School Class focuses on providing fellowship with the body of Christ as well as learning and growing spiritually. Through sharing of ideas based on the Word of God, we come to know him much more intimately and thus love him more.

Our class is a diverse group. We range in age from the early 20s to well… we won’t give away the age of our oldest member! We have singles and couples; parents, grandparents, and non-parents; work force, work-at-homes, and retired. We meet in room 203 (3rd class from the Administration building).

Currently the Bill Childs’ class is doing a study entitled “Ancient Paths.” Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand at the crossroads and look, ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it and you will find rest for your souls.” Come step along the ancient paths of the scripture with us as we search for the Good Way and come to intimately know He who is good.
